The HW35 was first produced back in 1951. Since then, production has never stopped, making it the oldest spring-powered air rifle still in production today. Today’s model is almost identical to its predecessors – although it has had some slight tweaks over the years to make it more consistent, accurate, and powerful.
The break-barrel action features a locking mechanism to ensure that the barrel is positively locked in the correct position before each shot. And with a Weihrauch precision-rifled steel barrel, consistency and precision are superb.
The stock is a beech Sporter with a raised cheek-piece to the right hand side, and a contoured rubber butt pad that fits nicely into the shoulder. The stock doesn’t have any chequering engraved into it, which helps to preserve the sporty flowing lines.
